Pamela's Notes: Kirsten and Brad’s colors of brown, eggplant and green were perfect for a fall night in Newport. The tent was beautiful with the tall and low centerpieces, the flowers overflowed from the vases. The wedding had many special touches, friends from different stages of Kirsten’s life were the readers for the ceremony… and the famous popcorn from Chicago "Garretts"(where the bride and groom live) were given out as a light night snack. In lieu of a traditional wedding cake Kirsten and Brad cut two mini bride and groom cakes and opted for a dessert buffet. My favorite moment of the night….watching Brad’s face as he saw Kirsten for the first time….this is why I love my career….yes, I had to reach for the Kleenix.
On a side note: Kirsten was referred to me from Kim Pucci who own Pucci Designs, an upscale jewelry store in Newport. Kim mentioned that she had a friend in Chicago who was getting married in Newport and was looking for a wedding planner, she thought our personalities would hit it off…well Kim called that one…not only was I able to execute a fabulous wedding but I now have a wonderful friend.

"Trying to pull-off a Newport wedding ourselves from Chicago would have been impossible. Pamela met with us initially to understand our vision and immediately exceeding our expectations. She tirelessly worked through the details, kept us up-to-date on important issues and deadlines, and moved things forward efficiently. With Pamela as the conductor, our wedding day went off flawlessly and every detail we envisioned came to life. Our friends and family were blown away. Thanks, Pamela for making our wedding day so special; we couldn't have done it without you!" Kirsten & Brad
